Southtex headquarters is located in Alto Porvorim, Panaji, Goa, India on the banks of the beautiful west cost.

The headquarter is the backbone between our production centers in South of India, our designers in North of India and in Europe, our raw material suppliers in India and our distributors around the world.

Introduction

Since the 1960’s Southtex has been a manufacture and trendsetter of hand-woven silk and cotton fabrics and home textiles. We are proud to represent and produce products made by ancient methods passed on from father to son fore centuries. All products are weaved by the most skilled craftsman in handlooms and the result is a truly unique product, loved and appreciated of people around the world. The proud owner of a hand-woven product from Southtex can rely on a unique high quality product that last a life time.

Production

All our products are manufactured in handlooms by the worlds most skilled crafts men and all raw material used in the production are 100% natural of the highest quality. We actively invest money to develop the local industry in India to create new job opportunities in the villages as well as investing in various types of educational programs for the children in the villages.

Quality

At all time we adopt various measures and techniques to provide high quality and eco-friendly products to the world market.

At all stages of the manufacturing process we check the product for any errors, and a final quality control is made at our checking centre, were each and every inch of every fabric is checked for any small defect or spot before the product is finally packed and shipped to the customer.

We never compromise the quality and are very environmental conscious, we only use AZO free colours and dyes in the yarn.

Designing

We have designers located in India as well as in Europe and they work in a close relation with our local customers to develop new designs for that particular market. Our designers are truly trendsetters.
